Yogi Adityanath Attacks Samajwadi Party and Congress During Lalitpur Visit, Announces Development Push for Bundelkhand
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Lalitpur and announced development initiatives while launching a strong attack on the Samajwadi Party and Congress. He blamed mafia networks for Bundelkhand's backwardness, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's international recognition, and stressed youth welfare, women's safety and regional development.
Before arriving in Lalitpur, the Chief Minister visited the Pitambara Peeth in the neighbouring state of Madhya Pradesh, where he offered prayers to Goddess Baglamukhi and at the ancient Vankhandeshwar Mahadev shrine, which is associated with the Mahabharata era. He later travelled by road to Lalitpur.
Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath said he had come to advance the district's comprehensive development programme. He said the government would leave no stone unturned to secure a brighter future for young people and strengthen initiatives aimed at ensuring the dignity, safety and empowerment of women.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's global recognition, the Chief Minister said that 33 countries had conferred their highest honours upon the Prime Minister. He stated that every such honour bestowed on Modi represented the respect and recognition of 1.4 billion Indians.
Emphasising the importance of public participation in democracy, he said that the people represented the highest authority and that the opportunity to interact with citizens was valuable. He assured residents that the government stood firmly with them for the development of Lalitpur.
Referring to international developments, Yogi Adityanath said that despite the conflict between the United States and Iran and the resulting pressure on prices worldwide, India was the only country that had succeeded in preventing a rise in inflation. He concluded his speech with the slogans "Victory to India" and "Glory to Lord Ram."
The Chief Minister's visit underscored the government's focus on accelerating development in Bundelkhand while combining infrastructure initiatives with political messaging ahead of future challenges.
